If you look some of UA's hubs like EWR, ORD, SFO, LAX at all these hubs UA is gate constrained, also at 3 out of the 4 hubs there are a lot of ATC issues. Right now because UA has 100 fewer mainline aircraft than DL, UA can't afford to use all or most of our small narrow bodies like the A319 or 737...
