I believe BR is bring back the 4x weekly flight- I'm on my phone, otherwise I'd check, but I think it's daily or 8x weekly now. So if anything, they're laying on the pressure. CX is the carrier I'm worried about. They're 3-4x weekly (more often 3x than not) up to June as of last check in mid Decembe...
Jump to postBoth unlikely IMHO. More A346 are moved to FRA in exchange for A380, and the A346 is generally slowly phased out by LH. As for the winter service, I doubt that the demand is there. I think we will see the FRA-YVR service only year-round for the time being, potentially being upgauged in the winter s...
Jump to postWow, MUC-SEA goes from no flights last summer to 9x weekly this summer! A resurgent Condor, freed from TCX is relaunching a seasonal 3x weekly MUC-SEA flight. Operates June 2 - October 1. FRA stays as daily. LH's MUC flight starts June 1, so it really is a quick ramp up from 0 to 100! TBH, SEA may b...
Jump to postI was on Flightradar24 tracking both CX's arrival and SQ's journey. Does any know how SQ is doing on the SEA-SIN route so far? And how is CX doing on the SEA-HKG, even with the ongoing riots? SQ is increasing to 5x weekly this April, which is a good sign, but I don't think I can get LF data on it f...
Jump to postUpdate: LH is launching MUC-SEA from June 1st, 2020. 6x weekly on a A359.
B6 will be pulling out of ANC, meaning PDX/SEA-ANC will not return after their seasonal end this fall.
-The UA SEA-LAX reduction is a misfile, it's still showing as 2x/day throughout the summer. One of the flights is showing up as a 737 for now, although I know things can change between now and then. Thought that reduction seemed odd. Interesting about the 737 on one of the flights. When was the las...
Jump to post- United B739 to IAD replaced by B752 Minor correction-the B752 is actually going to EWR, not IAD, and they did this in W17/18 too so it isn't new. IAD is 2-3x A320/737, as it always has been. Going back to the main topic, this isn't the first time that SEA-FRA has seen the A333. LH's loads on SEA-...

Jump to postTrying to get in the habit of posting the load factors here on a semi-regular basis for the airlines that serve SEA. Load factors for international airlines (plus int'l AS and DL flights), month of January 2018. Keep in mind that this is typically the weakest month for travel in SEA. LH: 64.73% Tha...
Jump to postLooks like SEA-KIX resumes April 1st, as reported on Airlineroutes/the HKG cutting thread.
Jump to postHi All, I just saw on Wikipedia (not the most reliable source, I know) that Eurowings is ending SEA as of 27.10.2018. Is this true? If it is, it's sad to see SEA losing capacity to Germany, with DE having cancelled MUC, LH downgrading FRA to a A330, and this. InnsbruckFlyer DE cancelled MUC, but mo...
Jump to postThere are two new international carriers to come in the next couple of months, and one returning carrier. You have EI starting next month. Thomas Cook starts SEA-MAN in June (seasonal service). Lastly, Eurowings with return with SEA-CGN 2X weekly starting in June. I saw a pic somewhere that Norwegi...
Jump to postDon't forget AeroMexico's return in November!
I think we're done with expansion for awhile, bar a return of CI to TPE.
Except that HU has been flying PEK-SEA for years (5+ I think). PVG-SEA started in 2015.
I know this is being reported as a reduction over W16, but I'm remembering the schedule as PEK-SEA 5x weekly and PVG-SEA 3x weekly...
Regardless, it's an equipment upgauge.
It's been 3x weekly 767 since Jan/Feb (with occasional periods scheduled more sparsely) and KEF-SEA is scheduled 3x 767, 4x 757 this winter.
Wouldn't be surprised if it makes it back into the schedule for next summer as well.
I can see that happening. There's 3 daily SEA-EAT flights, and it's not too impossible to imagine that some of those 228 seats are connecting to the Bay Area. EAT-SFO seems like a perfect match for a UAX CR2. What do other people think about this? Would there be any subsidies in place that EAT can ...
Jump to postI was looking at Alaska's website and it appears that they've eliminated GEG-ANC. I don't know how long it lasted. Can anyone tell me how long it lasted and its load factors? Thanks. I'm also wondering if the FI 763 will continue visiting SEA, as I believe it did a few days a week this summer. Than...
Jump to postFRA-SEA on Condor will be daily from the end of May 2018, replacing the lost MUC frequency. Eurowings appears to be returning and extending their seasonal schedule from June 18 - September 24. Last I saw, Delta's SEA-PVG/PEK is going to be daily this winter, which is up from 5x weekly last year. Of ...
Jump to postGreat news for TCX! In one week, we've gotten MFR and CVG on other airlines, and now MAN! This will be great to compliment Condor's planes at SEA. Maybe a foreshadowing to an increase on MUC-SEA service... Condor are pulling out of ALL Munich long haul starting this winter and will have none by the...
Jump to postIt stopped in Seattle apparently because it reached fuel minimums due to delays over Russia.
Is this the first time an A380 has landed at SEA? Too bad no one got a photo of it if true.
Well, everyone is wrong!
