Bennett123, only 2 or 3 L-188's were still airworthy. About 10-15 others are not; most don't have engines and have been parked for years. From what I have heard, they will be cut up for scrap on site.

Red is on the left wingtip, Green is on the right wingtip, and there is a white light on the tail. Same for ships, just no wingtips. Red = port and green = starboard. It is an FAA requirement to have NAVlights on at night, meaning the red, green, and white light (on the tail) MUST be on at night. No exceptions.

It applies to everything from Cessna 152's to 747's.
