The one that I remember was the Tenerife Plane Crash. The 747s were badly shaped in the front and actually had Airbus tails on them. So very odd...... I've also noticed the cardboard flight decks.

Those of us old enough may remember the teething problems with the JT9 on the first 747s. Multiple failures and even a bent shaft. There was also an "Ovalization" issue too until there were braces fitted. IIRC.

Betty Tootell's account was a fantastic read. I got the book for my birthday the year it was first published. There is another great account written by MacArthur Job. His book, "Air Disaster" (Volume 2) features the story and is 14 pages long.

So are the wheel wells pressurized? I would think there is not room for much in the 737. I can understand the 747. The absolute freezing temperatures would get them in the first hour I would imagine.

If you're gonna make a fake picture of an engine fire, first learn about them. Second, there is no reflection of the fire on the fuselage- funny about that. Although most media people would probably believe this, don't insult us - you look like an idiot.
