I’m really surprised Allegiant didn’t try setting up shop here over Norfolk. Williamsburg is much more of a leisure destination than Norfolk/Virginia Beach and would tie in well with other destinations they promote. They likely saw the Naval business as more opportunity. I would have went through with merger CO.

I would have kept the 757 PWs around longer

Raises hand. Both on UA/CO. I used to fly GUM-HNL-IAH when I was in the military which was operated with a 764 back in the PMCO days. I also flown on the 753 with UA/CO back when CO operated IAH-DEN when they were brand new and recently flew LAX-HNL on in first a few months ago.

United's Terminal A gates will not utilize any of those central terminal facilities, so there is adequate central terminal capacity to handle the other gates.
