Flight was on final approach when it was aborted and circled around for about 45-50min before diverting to ONT. Still on the ground at ONT.

I will be flying LGA-LAX next week, can report back on LF.
According to their website, https://www.pragusa.one the airline is supposed to start the sale of their tickets today (5/24) on DBV-EWR and DBV-LAX. However, that doesn't seem to be the case, and they still have not released their schedule.
Is the airline actually going to fly this summer or not?
BUR-AZA was advertised and ticketed as a daily flight, but has not operated since the inaugural on Monday. Read a post saying there was 16 people on the inaugural, maybe half of which are non-airline personnel. Could this be a reason, or something more technical? I am booked on the BUR-AZA and retu...Jump to post

I fully understand the complaints about long walks. Earlier this week I flew LAX-SLC-HNL, and exited the secure area between the flights. We arrived at gate A5 and it was quite the walk to the exit. However the new terminal feels much roomier and brighter. All in all a nice terminal albeit with long...Jump to post

Should end the year with 162 segments. Have done some day trips, mostly the G4 trips below. Has actually been a pleasant year to fly, with much less crowded airports and mostly empty planes. Take my JFK-SIN I flew earlier this week, we were just about 40 pax onboard. January 1.G4302………..LAX-BLI……….A...Jump to post
Just came off DXB-LAX and the flight was about 50% full. Talking to flight attendants, the load seems to have picked up a little. :old: Dont forget 14-day self-quarantine that went into effect for arrivals into California last week. https://www.flylax.com/travelsafely Well, that is still only an ad...Jump to post
Really a shame to see the number of people that elect to take non-essential trips in the midst of this health emergency. Anyone have a list of all long haul routes BA will be operating this winter season? Hi from Istanbul! This is my 5th visit to Istanbul, and I absolutely love the city and culture. Currently sitting on a rooftop hookah lounge next to Beyazit station and enjoying the nice evening. Thanks for the replies. Do you have a date for when the July and August schedules will be released? My guess would be in ~2 weeks for July and then August schedule sometimes in mid July. It's a rapidly evolving situation so airlines are being cautious on making changes. From my experience last year...Jump to post
However LAX's daily departures will remain incredibly low at just 43 daily departures on peak days to only 26 destinations. While I don't believe UA will de-hub LAX, it is obvious from our July schedule that at this particular point in time LAX is not a top priority for UA. While LAX's July numbers...Jump to post
I have a LAX-IST round trip in August which has already been rescheduled 3 times. I really hope TK will start at least some of their US ops by mid August. Buckle up; LAX and ORD will start next week. Third destination, IAD will be end on June. I will try confirm exact later today. No JFK flights ne...Jump to post

Thanks for doing this every Sunday! I noticed that during this past week G4 has reduced their LAX July schedule substantially. Such as IDA, BZN, FSD that were supposed to be operated starting in June/July has been pushed back to just a period of two weeks in August. Didn't see that posted in your li...Jump to post
I live here (Los Angeles) and I don’t know what the ‘green belt area’ is. If you’re referencing the grass park-like area next to In N Out, I believe that it should be open, but not 100% sure. For local spotters we have better spotting locations (such as Vicksburg Ave Bridge for north side arrivals)...Jump to post
So is it confirmed that there won't be any flights to LA in June? Regardless, it seems the safe bet is to postpone it until August. Living in LA, I am used to warm weather, and especially the hot summer days in the valley in August/September. How hot does it get in Istanbul, and is it a dry or humi...Jump to post
Question for those that know how the situation is in Istanbul. In mid June I have a LAX-IST-LAX trip booked, staying a week in Istanbul. Wow, this blew up and quite the reaction. I have my reasons for why I still keep on flying, and it isn’t something I am going to share with all of you. I really don’t have any obligation to explain myself, and as long as flights are operating, I will continue to fly when I have to. I understand that...Jump to post
