Personally anything above 7-8h is long haul, with +9.5h segments as true long hauls and +13h as ULH. Have a hard time seeing people calling the short hop from the US East coast to Western Europe as long haul and getting worked up over that, especially in winter with strong tail winds. Was on yet another 787 flight yesterday on AC LHR-YVR in which the crew locked the window at the darkest setting for the majority of the flight. This is a mid day 2:10pm to 3:30pm westbound flight, so really not meant for creating a dark cabin for 7 hours. Just HATE the override function crew have.

Now that LH seems to preparing their 747-400s for return to service, what routes are they scheduled to operate on? A couple of weeks ago there were several TATL routes that showed as operated by 744 from first week of November, but those have now been removed.

Regarding the Delta snack boxes, Delta could learn a thing or two from Alaska who currently have the best catering in First of all domestic carriers. Basically full service with hot meals on all flights longer than 1,100mi, and not just on a select few premium routes as other carriers.

UGH darn it. I didnt look into that Unless you're shorter than 5'8 fly somebody else. No amount of savings is worth induced scoliosis on a flight that long (and that would go for Allegiant and Frontier as well). I typically agree. However, it might be worth checking to see what Big Front Seat costs...

Spirit is wasting time. They must shut down the entire system down for 48 hours and begin positioning aircraft and crew for a grand startup. This corrective action to repair their system will be easier to explain to the paying passengers and employees. Offer full refunds and vouchers for any reason...

Flight was on final approach when it was aborted and circled around for about 45-50min before diverting to ONT. Still on the ground at ONT.
