I wouldn't expect a ton more service by Amtrak on that route. Balto - DC is the mainstay of the MARC Penn line. Amtrak is there because of the entire NEC route system. Once the new Baltimore tunnel is complete, I would expect a lot more Amtrak service. Not because of Baltimore to DC, but DC to NYC....
