I disagree on the prospect of HU coming to PDX. Their parent company is in serious financial trouble and with the ongoing trade war and other frictions with China, I don't see it happening in 2020.

Flew PDX-SJC-PDX on a mileage run today. 11:50am departure on a 738, not full at all, multiple empty Y+ seats. 4:30pm return on an A319, less than half full. Interesting stuff, reminds me a bit of Porter in Canada with the small terminal at the airport, nice lounge that is available to all who have a ticket and, of course, the prop plane. I wonder if the founder had looked to Porter as a model and/or inspiration.
