MEM is also having major construction work done. At least here, nothing has been reported about stopping the work. FWIW, the pax section of MEM will be much smaller than it once was. With the draw down of DL flights, I am sure the terminal will still be rather space generous for some time.

DL 9964, MD88, registration N999DN, showing ATL- BHY. Looks like the last revenue flight had been DL 985 RDU - ATL on April 3. Looks like it had been scheduled (and flights cancelled) on April 3 ATL-PIT (DL 371) and ATL - OMA (DL 871). FLightrader24 does not show any future flights for this plane.

My question - how did the gate agent who let her down the jetway not notice? There had to be multiple people who failed in this instance. I can understand not notifying the pilots- UA doesn't have the best reputation, no one wants to be charged with 'interfering with flight crew.'

So I saw that LH 412 was diverted to SNN (normal route is MUC-Newark). Anyone know why?NOw showing as leaving Shannon at 2126, arrive Newark 2252. Ship is airbus A350, registration D-AIXA.

I live in MEM and most of our flights to ATL are MD88. I do wonder what will be next. We get the odd 737 or A319 (esp to MSP), but I suspect we'll get the MD90s maybe B717.

DL website is showing DL 9374 (KL operated) as cancelled. However. DL 8816 is showing the same ETD/ETA (1650 - 2025) on 767-300. If you prefer flightradar24, however, the flight is shown to be operated by an A330, ship N810NW.

AMS - LAX shows "awaiting take off" on DL site. KLM just shows KL 601 the arrival and departure at the same time.....I'm guessing they have not updated the system yet to show a delay?....They are showing KL 621 (AMS- ATL) as cancelled.

Also empty buildings become security and insurance liability that is unnecessary. If the area is clear, you can see who (or what) is there much more easily. And should you want to expand, you have some clear space.

Was not on the plane, just with another pax Drive n DL club. He described the sound like a hammer hitting the engine. The plane did return to the gate D45 I believe. The flight I guess will be rescued with an 845 departure to ATL.

DL 1052 aborted take off (MKE - ATL)

So apparently DL 1052 had a problem with the right engine today, problem happened during take off, according to pax in the DL club with me. New departure is 845 pm (they have having to fly a plane into MKE to rescue the folk who are now seriously delayed). Anyone know what was the problem?

I am glad UA is taking this action. In fact, the FA is a front person for their company. Most people will not deal with the corporate office. They see who is in the airport and plane. And as O. I believe it is FAA policy that only an FA can serve alcohol aboard the flight. While perhaps his heart was in the right place, what he did was dumb. Especially after he was told NO by the FA. If it was that big a deal, could he not simply have bought them something during the regular drink run?

They claim it's by distance, I've heard also it depends on the time of the day... but I've definitely been on flights where everyone was surprised there's no food. This is another one where it would be interesting to read the final report. Reply #20 said that there are not always marshallers at WN planes. Is that unusual? I often notice on DL flights they have one to block traffic and one to walk the plane all the way out. Is that not the norm for every airline?

Another thing to think about is how the fleet of the US 3 is used. A plane that goes DTW-ATL could turn and go ATL-ELP, ATL-ABQ. As a result, to have some planes with F and some without would be an unnecessary complication. Also, F seats are a great 'perk' for FF.
