Happy New Years everyone. I want to know of the possibilities of the A220 using the CFM Leap Engines like the A320neo.
Jump to postThe bottom line is that Delta has destroyed T4. I have the original plans from when T4 was proposed to replace the old IAB and the expansion plans proposed then after T4was built would have complimented the structure. Delta did a Hodge podge mess of the place.

Jump to postIn May 2020 the GORTT secured a US$65m (TT$442m) loan to assist BW, so it would be astonishing if there is no mention in the budget on how to repay this loan as well as any other support provided since then. Well time to start learning Chinese cause thats where the loan might have been given from. ...
Jump to postTrinidad and Tobago remains as a Red List country. I suspect that British Airways and Virgin Atlantic will delay services to the islands until Trinidad and Tobago is removed from the Red List. Jump to postOK, Komrade. Why have competition in anything, right? I welcome fair competition. But when a country has one carrier and you have over 5 carriers from some where else coming in thats unfair plus it take away higher paying jobs. Not everyone want to be a maid or cook at a local hotel. If you say F/A...
Jump to postTime to reign in these open skies agreements as it is killing smaller carriers outside the USA. Instead of the free for all limit it to one on one carriers.
Jump to postMy sincere thought that any aircraft, be it and Envoy E175 or LAA A319 will fly out of DOM with some manner of load restrictions. A 5700ft runway in the hot/humid climates of the Caribbean are not conducive to excellent take off performance at max gross. Keep in mind, SXM’s runway is nearly an addi...
Jump to postFor several years BW operated a daily flight using the Tristar between POS and LHR with stops (in both directions) at BGI (on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays), at ANU (on Wednesdays and Fridays) and at UVF (on Tuesdays and Sundays). Jump to postGreat trip report. I have to add Bali to th bucket list
Jump to postI was fan of the MD80 but I did not hate them. I will say they are rugged aircraft compared to what we have today. I always enjoyed the takeoff just like on the 757 it was fast and at a high angle like a rocketship some times.
