Flew Bangkok - Copenhagen on SAS 340 last week. Their "flatbed" was the worst ever. Not only are the seats sloped in an angle, but with no foot rest it is impossible to stay in the "bed". The angle makes you slide out of the seat.

SQ used to call their 742's "Big Top" and the 744's "Mega Top". Any good suggestion for the 380? I guess "Top Less" is out of the question.  Smile

I am somewhat curious of the definition of "budget airline" or "LCC carrier". What does it mean? And especially in connection with this crash the term "budget airline" is used all the time. Does it imply that a budget airline is using old crappy equipment? Not always, Ryan Air and Tiger Airways does...
