BA offered full check in and baggage drop at Paddington Station. This was great because you didn't have to be riding the Heathrow Express to use it. I believe it was ended shortly after 9/11. It was located in the area that is now occupied byu the Yo! Sushi.

Can anybody confirm that Allegiant Air rents it's ticket counter space by the hour at non-hubs?
They don't pay standard leases, but will often sublease from other airlines at an hourly rate. This is one of the ways that they keep costs down.
