Jump to postThe Netherlands are not taking part in the A400M. They recently acquired several refurbished C-130s and took a stake in the newly acquired 3 C-17's which they share with other NATO countries.
The C-130s currently under refurbishement by Marshal Aerospace are very late and costs are rising BTW
the reason they didn't go with the F-16 the first time was they thought it would not be in production 30 years from then (or at least spare parts). This time that argument will certainly hold.
