Re: United's IAH-SYD flight progress.

Maybe a few one-off flights, but overall average loads are much much stronger than that. Well this is the rolling officially reported load factor data with the six month lag: JAN - 68.4% FEB - 59.0% MAR - 54.4% APR - 54.1% MAY - 53.8% Definitely more than "a few one-off flights"....... We...

Rumour has it this isn’t too far away (though who knows how far away ‘not too far’ is—likely within 2 years is my guess). It is a rather strong candidate. Though I would personally prefer AA just hurry up and open 3x weekly DFW-AKL for Northern winter, even though I hate flying AA.

Re: WN Demands AS Route Profitability for DAL in Court Filings

Let’s run a hypothetical, though. So if a judge orders the release and it is upheld on appeal (which, again, I give almost no chance of happening), that would set a precedent for future challenges. Release of profitability data would open the door for predation cases to be successful, which would b...

There is only the smallest of chances a judge would order AS to produce their route profitability. And on the off chance it was ordered, AS would be appealing that decision faster than you could say ‘What the fudge?’ That information would likely be considered a trade secret or similar. Let’s run a ...

B6 originally wanted to serve DAL. They were quite frustrated by the Wright 'compromise'. If the DAL gates became available, I'm sure they would do their due diligence on it. That doesn't mean they would or would even want to move, and most airlines that could potentially serve DAL would likely do t...
