Re: American Airlines 767 Cabins Since Delivery

As a kid I remember flying LAX-MIA with my parents on an AA 767 around Thanksgiving 2000. Not sure if it was a -200 or -300. The flight was continuing onward to FRA. I remember being taken aback at how spacious F was and am almost positive the seats there had some sheepskin/leather upholstery combin...

Re: California Pacific Cancels All Flights for 2nd Straight Day

IMHO what CLD really needs is just a non-stop to LAX on an actual airline, essentially providing a one-stop itinerary to almost anywhere in the world. AA (S340) and UA (OO E120 until retirement) both did that previously for many years and although the HP Q200 to PHX was convenient for some, it wasn'...

Two years ago I did UA ONT-SFO-ORD-SFO-ONT just to ride on a B747 for the first time. Spent about an hour total in ORD before flying back on the same 744 to SFO. Left ONT before dawn, returned late that same night. Well worth it!

Years ago somewhere around the summer of 2004 I attempted SAN-PHL-ACK on US Airways. The second segment was cancelled, forcing a reroute of PHL-LGA (E-145) and LGA-HYA (S-340, IIRC). I then had to take the ferry to Nantucket. For many I can imagine the LGA-HYA flights were a big time saver.
