In the US, go to insuremytrip.com and check coverages. They compare many insurance providers. I've used TravelGuard, Allianz, and a couple of others before. But have not had a claim, yet. I have no idea about the US market, however I can't recommend Allianz and their affiliates. With the Allianz Gr...Jump to post

There are too many small French airlines (Aigle Azur, Corsair, Air Caraïbes, French Blue, La Compagnie, XL Airways). My actually flights are: SMF-DFW and DFW-LHR, operated by AA, Aug. 24-25 . LHR-ATH operated by BA, Aug. 25. The walkout on 23 and 24 August is still scheduled to go ahead - it might have a knock-on effect on operations on August 25th (as the a/c might not be back at base).... You don't get very far by picking a FF program from an airline in a far corner of the world which you'd rarely fly. Best is to pick a program of an airline you actually fly. True, however AEGEAN as well as Turkish Airlines can be a great alternative. It depends on the airline, class and fare of tra...Jump to post
I seen advertisement of let say you have a stopover or 7 hours, they can take you for a city tour, and drop you back at the airport. This service is called "Touristanbul" by TK. But the question was regarding "Stopover in Istanbul". BTW. in Economy it is only for ONE, in Busines...Jump to post
It's getting cold in fall, Berlin is an excellent start point! But for outstanding night-life and much better weather I would visit Barcelona - flights and hostels are cheap too! Thanks to the competition of LCC carriers like U2, FR or VY from TXL or SXF you will find easily a flight down south.Jump to post

The LH Group just announced that the SN brand will stay and remain independent, no further aircrafts will be repainted in EUROWINGS colours. Do the crews instruct them to return to their original seats simply because they do not pay for it (just like in low-cost carriers like AirAsia)?
