I heard somewhere that the reason this hasnt been put into production yet is because of problems with pressurization. Typically, airliners assume a circular shape under pressure but the blended wing brought about problems with this.

Have they gotten around that yet?

Is it possible that the power setting required for flight kept the hydraulic pumps supplied with pressure then after landing there wasn't enough pressure to keep the lines charged, thus no brakes?

Usually you check in with whoever the company is that issued the ticket.

Say you are on delta flight 4300 (codeshare), you would check in on the DL website, but it would show the seat map of the partner airline.
