Re: Pan Am shuts down 29 years ago today.

I flew Pan Am quite a bit in the mid-1970's I was a regular on flights 200 - 201 between JFK and GIG for nearly 2 years. It was a love hate relationship. I fondly remember the upstairs dining on the 747 SP -- Gentlemen, please wear jackets! I do not remember fondly some of the operational issues (EZ...

Re: OAG Changes 12/1/2020:DL Cuts JAN More;4B Adds MSL-PNS;G4's New SNA Routes,Adds AZA-HOU (Phoenix-Houston)

Given that land borders are shut, the Canadians that normally drive down to Florida/Arizona for the winter will have to go by air this year (if they choose to go, since they'll either have to rent a car or go without a car if they come down). They are having the cars shipped across the border (legal...

I was one of those affected by a cancellation. I was notified well in advance and rebooked efficiently. To be honest, some of us are not unhappy to see them go. When it was "ASA" it was known as "Atlanta's [email protected]@@@@est Airline" due to low levels of timekeeping and service. This has also been noted in FAA statistics. As a very frequent flyer out of TLH for 30+ years we would "boo...
