Purchasing Citizenship - Wrong or Okay?

Hello all, I just read this: https://www.bbc.com/news/business-49958628 and it basically states that the selling and purchasing of citizenships by countries is now a big business. I'm against this for a few reasons: - Citizenship is wrong to be sold - it's an honourable thing to have earned. I am al...

Who Pays For Healthcare - Insurance Company or Employers?

I work for a very large tech company in the US (formally startup) and am having a rough year, medically speaking. I've met all my deductibles and out of pocket expenses. Now that I've reached my out of pocket max, my plan pays 100% for every single eligible medical expense. I am wondering, does the ...

Why don't Australian/NZ airlines join TSA PreCheck?

I find it so odd that neither Qantas, Virgin Australia, Air New Zealand or Jetstar are members of the TSA PreCheck program. https://www.tsa.gov/precheck/participating-airlines Given that some really small airlines (Air Serbia, Aruba Airlines) are part of the program and QF is one of the larger forei...

As I'm getting older and more aware with the world and how it works, I'm finding it more and more difficult to justify eating meat.
