When you try to call delta they won't even let you join a que it just says to call back in an hour. Tried to check on a flight for a family member the automated system says no flights found. Really down not even the flight status auotnated system will tell you anything

I know people on here will defend the big 3 if they killed people, but seriously they need to Invest in redundant systems and have better emergency plans in place. Why dont they already are better plans in place......$$$

Kind of sad. Provided a nice alternative for international travel to avoid the crowded and delay-prone NYC/BOS/PHL airports on connections. These were connecting flights unless Air Canada gets a new plane, no airline is going to cover them.

Any law could easily grandfather planes built after a certain time etc etc there would be many ways to grandfather in setups so that airlines wouldn't need to reconfugure anything. Yeah i just don't see this as needed in our lifetimes. I bet this is being pushed by people who have interests in the construction industry and own land near the new airport. It won't happen there are so many cheaper ways to expand LAS.

I can't really see a need for this. Except maybe a ULCC similar to a Sanford type setup. There would never be a need to build a train. It could take LAS a while to go significantly past capacity. For printing money, no delta has the best hubs. United hubs have way too high operation costs ie why delta makes so much more money.

I don't think DAB and BTV announcement have anything in common. They just happen to be on the same day randomly.

BTV is on frontiers city pulldown with an image clearly of the city. Daytona is not on the list. So it sounds like BTV is getting frontier and DTB is getting sunwing.

BTV or PBG are worth it for families specifically when flying domestically ie Florida you don't pay the taxes and fares are often cheaper. Its NOT worth the trip for a single person ever. If you have a mini van you can save alot of money at times.

KEF is way too crowded. I can't imagine part of this isnt to help spread the passengers out. They do so much connecting you need more space per passenger than your typical airport yet they have less.

I feel like there is at least a thread already on this. Also I don't think it's technical challenges it's they want more seats per plane. The 320 is not the same size plane even the 319 would be closer capacity wise , this is a shift in strategy.

I think the most profitable route to China from the US is held by Delta via ICN and it's Korean air partner. Great transfer airport in a good location. Delta has really worked to improve that relationship for a reason

SGU can probably ramp up bus service to LAS and help people in that time. Kind of their issues is LAS is so close, has non-stops to everywhere and is usually super affordable in price. It kind of stinks but people in that area can manage.

Will airlines really care that much? HND advantage is for frequent travelers. People going to the olympics most are traveling once, an extra hour on the train is not a big deal. It might not even be that far depending on where they are going?

Pretty much everything in Central/Eastern Europe can fill in Summer and empty the rest of the year. I do bet Berlin picks up more Summer only service to NA. AA has reported PRG and BUD were excellent this summer. Good summer market, weak year round. I bet they will land more summer only service.
