RE: Taca TA040 MVD-LIM

Great report! You had some interesting encounters along the way, to say the least! The pictures of the Altiplano are spectacular as well; it's a must visit. As for the structures you saw, I believe those are salt refineries or some sort of salt managing facility, however I'm not 100% sure on that - ...

Hey I had a question and I thought this would be the ideal place to ask! I'm not sure if this is the correct part of the forum to post, if incorrectly placed, my apologies. Great report and very nice pictures, a pleasure to see! However one of the pictures got me thinking; what's a TAM 767 doing in SNN? Well it's that time of year again when I take a month's vacation to Uruguay, as usual. Interesting reports with Sky & Air Comet, I've wanted to see for a while now a trip report form either of LAN's competition in the Chilean domestic market; it seems like LAN's got the advantage. Air Comet did a really crappy job of handling the situation with your flight, they should have given you ...

Nice report!! I really like the 737-200 and it is sad to see them go, they've been faithful servants of LAN and pretty much every airline that has used them, let's hope the new A318s last just as long as the 732 did! <TABLE BORDER=0 ALIGN=CENTER WIDTH=95% style="border-top: 1pt #28455E solid;border-...
