The majority of the last big departure bank for DL leaves between 10-11pm, of which only a sub-set would even be using 17 for departures, based on winds. They removed the odd numbered B gates to make room in the alley for bigger RJ's. Now they can fit RJ-900's in the A gates. Delta has said they are reducing the number of RJ-200's so they demand for those gates is lower.

When I worked for OO they used to constantly have TDY to ASE. I never took them up on it but coworkers who did said it was hard work and always a circus in ASE. Can't imagine what it's like when the circus melts down

A7 and A5 don't exist anymore. They were used by the dash 8 200 when qx flew them. Now they are used for equipment parking. QX has been using B1 several times a day now as well.

Not all PATCO ATC's were fired. Some chose to pass the picket lines. Also, I believe it was President Clinton allowed former PATCO Controllers to be rehired. So it is quite possible that the statement is true.
