RE: Airlines Have The Worst Maps!

What's worse is trying to "see" where airlines fly to nonstop.... they try to cram not only their route, but the route of their codeshare onto the map, making it difficult if not impossible to see where they actually to/from. RE: Southwest Unveils New Flights

US Airways really screwed this one up, although it doesn't surprise me - <acronym title="OLD: Austin - Robert Mueller Municipal (AUS / KAUS) (closed), USA - Texas AND CURRENT: Austin - Bergstrom International (AFB) (AUS / KBSM), USA - Texas">AUS</acronym> and <acronym title="San Antonio - Internatio...

RE: Why No CLT-SAT Nonstop?

US Airways did serve Austin in the 90's, though primarily through <acronym title="San Antonio - International (SAT / KSAT), USA - Texas">SAT</acronym> or even <acronym title="Houston - George Bush Intercontinental (IAH / KIAH), USA - Texas">IAH</acronym>. It was announced in Aug '01 that Us Airways ...

RE: Aviation In Austin

So what's stopping US Airways from launching service to <acronym title="Charlotte - Douglas International (CLT / KCLT), USA - North Carolina">CLT</acronym> or even <acronym title="Philadelphia - International (PHL / KPHL), USA - Pennsylvania">PHL</acronym>? Is it lack of aircraft? Do you think they'...

RE: Aviation In Austin

Cameron, thanks for the news. I fly home about once a year, and the place does seem to get busier and busier. I have not flown on the <acronym title="Seattle / Tacoma - International (SEA / KSEA), USA - Washington">SEA</acronym> flights, but my family has in the past month, and every flight to/from ...

RE: Aviation In Austin

I mistyped the number going to <acronym title="Dallas / Fort Worth - International (DFW / KDFW), USA - Texas">DFW</acronym>, <acronym title="Dallas - Love Field (DAL / KDAL), USA - Texas">DAL</acronym>, <acronym title="Houston - George Bush Intercontinental (IAH / KIAH), USA - Texas">IAH</acronym> a...

Aviation In Austin

Greetings everyone, this is my first post, so please give me a free pass on this one. I grew up in Austin, <acronym title="Caribéenne de Transport (France)">TX</acronym> and have great memories of Mueller and then Bergstrom. I still remember <acronym title="American Airlines (USA)">AA</acronym> DC-1...
