The new rules in NY about inbound passengers from various states. They are stating that agents will greet each flight and take completed form and confirm identity. In the real world, how will this really work? I just seeing this being a disaster in the real world. If they don't do it at the gate, al...Jump to post
Here's a question.... I am in instrument rated private pilot SEL. I have been around helo's, but not intimately familiar with their normal operations. Why not file an IFR flight plan SNA - CMA and shoot the ILS into CMA? With ceilings as low as they were and knowing you would have to navigate throug...Jump to post

I'm a 5 year GS, 1MM on UA. I am loyal to United mainly because they fly where I need to go and Mileage Plus is the absolute best program out there (I use my miles to fly F on Star Alliance carriers). I fly 100% biz international and 90% F domestic. I can be totally honest and say my "BAD"...Jump to post
Could IAH become nonstop? I have colleagues that travel IAH-MAN (first leg of IAH-MAN-SIN) on a regular basis and they say its always half full.Jump to post
You really should wait until you hear the full story......it sounds more like this person would have been suffering from some ailment that caused such a stink.....personal hygiene alone probably wouldn't result in such a drastic odor..... Well then, there certainly are lots and lots of traveling pa...Jump to post
I am american but have worked internationally for the last 4 years and have now lived in The Netherlands for the last 18 months. This topic comes up often as I give my colleagues a hard time for constantly taking holidays - sometimes up to 3 weeks at a time (especially in August!). Was just in Londo...Jump to post
I think the biggest question here is... how in the world did they both fit in the bathroom at the same time??? Regardless of what they were or were not doing. Seeing 2 people walk of a Lav on a narrow body aircraft is clowncar-esque! I once saw a couple disappear in the wee hours of the night in a T...Jump to post

They're not Geordies.
People from Manchester are called
Mancunian and a Geordie is from Newcastle.
I'm an american living in Europe and I love that people actually are telling this guy to shove it. In america, no one would step up to this in fear of being criticized. They'd just all be sitting their with their cameras out and posting it to facebook. One thing I love about Europe... these are the ...Jump to post
I like how it was an A330, but they reference a 77W and have a picture of a 763. Solid!Jump to post
Is there a site out there like flight aware or fr24 that allows you to do searches such as a specific type of aircraft at an airport?
For example, I'd like to see all of the GLF6 movements at KSNA in the last week. Just an example but you can see what I am looking for.
S-Turns are common practice in general aviation. Every student pilot practices them and they usually happen on final approach or even short final. If you are doing pattern work at a busy airport (for example, Long Beach (LGB) on a nice saturday afternoon!) they are VERY VERY common! :) They also hap...Jump to post
Ford is losing his brain screws. He narrowly escaped death in a crash less than a year ago- and now this. I mean WHO THE HELL MISTAKES A TAXIWAY FOR A RUNWAY. The old man's mind has gone the way of his recent movie choices: loony and un- explainable. The FAA should take his license away before he g...Jump to post
I highly doubt any media source got the details of this incident correct. Once the true, factual, details come out, this will likely be NOT NEWSWORTHY. Per the above post, the AA flight was likely cleared to hold short of 20R between 20L and 20R and the landing aircraft likely landed on 20L as the A...Jump to post
I couldnt even imagine having to Pre-Clear at AMS... passport control in the mornings is already an absolute mad house with all of the flights to the US... I don't think they even have the room for this.Jump to post
This is completely lame. I have been a GS for 5 years on UA and, yes, I am saying that!
Be original and don't copy Delta!!
I'm a strong believer that UA can kick KE out of IAH if they start ICN. Korea is a big manufacturer of heavy oil equipment, Hyundai actually built the Deepwater Horizon for one. And Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) in Busan is building their next platform, Mad Dog II. I think ICN would be a good move...Jump to post
With the onset of wireless bluetooth headphones, how can they be connected to an aircraft's IFE? Bose just released their wireless in-ear headphones, which are supposed to be amazing. I am being relocated to The Netherlands from the US. I have a question about traveling with valuables. My watch collection is worth more than $100k.
