I say this because India alone is 75-85. https://chaibuzz.com/article/direct-flight-from-rdu-to-india-more-of-a-dream-than-reality This is the link where it shows PDEW for top 20 markets to India. Re: Raleigh/Durham Aviation - 2024

I'm not a fan boi for either CLT or RDU, but the reasoning people use for one airport in favor of another on a theoretical route (or using pre-Covid market data) veers into the preposterous sometimes. "CLT-NRT won't work knowing how expensive it would be and people would rather connect in DFW ...

That's true, DL is very defensive of their hubs. But I also think there's more to lose on a TATL route than something like PVU Agreed, but it still doesn't stop DL from doing it, I do see DL launching some PVU routes in retaliation and bailing out It's not DL's MO to do that .. Re: AA, PVU to PHX and DFW

Could be 100% wrong, but this is a defensive move by AA and not because the market demands it. Which is what DL does when any new route comes from any of their hubs, a good example of DL being defensive is when a new TATL opens routes DL sneaks in (defensively) and tries to move them out. That's tr...

I was just thinking about your question (if DL would add PVU now) it’s one thing to have the ULCC/LCC carriers in PVU that don’t really compete with DL. But now that AA has jumped into the market to probably keep Breeze at bay I could see PVU being on DL’s radar to now keep AA at bay. Becase DL is ...

Oh yes, swoop into that highly lucrative ACY market.
