Hmm for the ultra revolutionary... How about an airport which replaces tugs altogether.. you could have a system of underground cables and a "grip" that the aircraft uses to grab the cable and pull the plane round the airport... no need for extra taxi ways to move the tug out of the way.. or staff o...
