I don't think it is sheduled; the next one will start when it will be reset. You may sign up for this game; even though you won't get among top airlines most likely you will get to know how it works. Then when the reset will be announced you will be able to sign up for the next game.

Well the size of thumbnails also depends on resolution of course. But higher resolution means more pixels therefore even if the size of the picture is smaller (on the surface of monitor) nothing is lost.

It depends on resolution. On my screen for example everything is visible at a same time the way it is (I use 1600x1200 resolution), while for people who use low resolutions even with your suggestions inmplemented the photo and its information would not fit on screen at the same time.
