News is reporting that EWR will be closing as part of the WN network due to delays with the MAX.

Only Private planes have been banned, commercial airliners may still serve the country for passengers that don’t fall on the restrictive ban.
Pilots reported performance issues in the #1 engine during accent. Plane returned to the field. Upon arrival FOD was ingested into the #1 on approach. Plane landed and is at the SWA MCO hangar and will be for a while until a replacement Leap engine can be brought in to swap out. Problem is there are...Jump to post

B6 isn’t going anywhere for quite awhile and deff not to UA or HA, AS or WN. Just stop with this nonsense. UA-already has dominance of EWR. JFK added would bring in a monopoly to the NYC area and violate anti-trust laws. HA- ummmm I do t think this even merits and explanation. WN- has very little f...Jump to post

No way. That's a WN staple. It would be sacrilege.

FI uses old low CAPEX frames to sit around at the various airports. WOW has spanking new frames that have to be kept in use. On the main bank FI offers a lot more connections than WW.[/quote] FI will be phasing out their 757's in favor of 737 MAX jets in the near future and will have newer planes th...Jump to post
IAD saw more 747s than one would think. Daily IAD-NRT/PEK along with one, occasionally two IAD-LHR/FRA frequencies, mixed in with 767-300ERs. Now they've shifted to all 777-200ERs, with the exception of the morning IAD-LHR. IAD-LAX/SFO occasionally had a 747 substitution. If anyone remembers anothe...Jump to post

Well with WN MX department going to court to Halt Hawaii ETOPS certifications over contract issues with WN. I’m going to say it’s safe to say Hawaii definitely will not be announced in this upcoming schedule release. And that is why WN will launch it.
I can see OAK, SJC, SAN, LAX, SMF with current NG-ETOPS aircraft and then adding LAS & PHX when the MAX8 takes over the Hawaii Route Flying. Toss ups to me are PDX, SEA & ONT but I don't think AS would be too keen on that.

FLL will become a HUB for WN in the near future. With the new INT'L concourse set to open soon with 6 additional gates, their current schedule starting June 4th has them only at 74 flights but can easily see that jumping to over 100 once the fleet is bounced back once the classics are retired and MA...Jump to post
is southwest big in phoneix? cause i think they do good dulles to phoneix! Yes, Phoenix a hub for southwest, and southwest only has four flights out of Dulles so I doubt that will happen, but it is a possibility. Actually we have 6, going to 7 in June: (3) DEN, (2) ATL, (1) MCO 7 (1) FLL-starting J...Jump to post

I'm sure there are lots of those in Alaska.
The PR is clear that they are staying, moving to E175s. Just as I stated in this thread a week ago: http://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1359805 FLY He had a couple of follow up posts upthread, since that post. I was just referring to going to E175's and O&D marketing FLYJump to post
With the exception of SJC, exactly as I predicted. The big question is where are the DCA/LGA slots going????? Popcorn with butter please... The PR is clear that they are staying, moving to E175s. AS will keep the DAL gates but you will see it become a E175 station. I highly doubt they will run 737's to both with their connection partner AA at DFW.
