To answer your questions, no, we should not send troops to Ukraine. That ship has long since sailed. I don't pretend to be a biomedical expert, nor a foreign policy expert, but I know baloney when I see it.

I see several aircraft mentioned with well over 100,000 hours but I don’t see any details about a 707 with over 100K cycles, it doesn’t sound right. Max, I get where you are coming from, but these things were crashing and dashing at Tinker all day long. All I can tell you is what I remember seeing,...
Jump to postThere is no walk-around on the crown. The fall protection requirements would be a bear alone. There is something out on the web about using drones for that, but it isn't a thing at this time.
Jump to postHint: it’s not Page One because it isn’t a major city. Plenty of people on the coasts would be hard pressed to find SDF on a map. Would definitely be page one if it were LA or NYC - our capitals of media. That wasn't the case with Breonna Taylor. That took place in SDF. Look at the attention it got.

This particular airplane, I remember seeing some induction paperwork with the times and cycles. It along with its sister N132EA visited MIA for MRO work. ...
Jump to postBLM protests were also not a big issue in Canada. Also, just because someone else broke the law does not mean you get to break it, too. Jump to postThis will never happen. You cannot blackmail anyone in a functioning democratic country. BLM did it. Be consistent, either you allow protests or you don't. Is it ever lawful in the US for a non-LEO citizen to shoot at someone while they are obviously trying to get away from you, regardless of any crime they may have just commited? I don't believe so. Jump to postOnly problem the 707 rudder had was with the CFM powered versions which had flutter issues. This was applicable to the full size, not the KC-135-sized airplanes.

The lack of log books is NOT a deal breaker, just requires a lot of hoops to jump through. Getting the airplane in an airworthy condition to operate in the US is a fool's errand. Back in the day it may have made a square grouper freighter.
Jump to post2 years ago I had the choice of moving to Miami or Los Angeles.
