Very reasonable expectation. I have flown MIA to various Spanish speaking destinations many, many times (Santo Domingo, Mexico City, Panama, Bogota, Montevideo, Lima, and one or two others) and can’t remember ever hearing only Spanish. I would be shocked if I did.

Interestingly I don't think Southwest is as cheap as it used to be. Maybe not, but their prices in California are pretty good. It is not hard to find $50-60 o/w fares LAX-SFO. That is with two free bags and at primary airports. That is hard to compete with $30 bags and (possibly) secondary airports...

I've cleared immigration and customs at ICN a few times between 4pm and 7pm and it has never taken me more than about 30 minutes with a US passport and priority checked baggage. Like many things in South Korea, they run things quite smoothly.

Also, note that immigration and customs are separate. They should have to clear both, but they're very different things that are often incorrectly lumped together.

I will say that Southwest Florida is popular with German tourists in particular, so routes from Germany tend to do well. Not sure if a route from other European countries would be as successful.
