As mentioned above, in the vast majority of cases, no. There's charts and all of that which are standardized and easy to ready, and in most cases there's nothing special about an airport as far as arrivals/departures go that would require any kind of special review or training.

Plenty of airlines have flights available beyond August to/from Hawaii. The two you chose just aren't two of them. Flights won't end mid-season, they're just not for sale yet.

Sometimes you want the fastest route, sometimes you don't. Most efficient also isn't always the same thing as shortest...

SOFIA is a joint project between NASA and German Aerospace Center. It’s an airborne telescope/observatory. It’s based at Dryden/Edwards AFB (just north of Palmdale) usually.

I think that regulators, aviation authorities and airlines across the globe need to be more strict on seatbelts. I don't how to enforce that, but that's how I see it. Noteworthy that I'm aware that sometimes it's not best thing to stay stuck in your seat for so long... At least keeping the belt on ...
