On a funny note, I had a Delta a few weeks ago trying to beat both runway closures (1/19 and 15/33). His FMS had them landing at four minutes after. I gave them the best shortcut I could, let them redline all the way, but the computer still didn't give them hope and MWAA wouldn't delay the closure....

Yes, but the travel time at rush hour is significantly different. I'd much rather try and get between DC and IAD at rush hour than mess with 95 or the BW Parkway.

I had a great meal at Craftsteak (MGM Grand) last time I was in Vegas. I've also heard good things about Bazaar Meat (SLS) and SW Steakhouse (Wynn). There are SO many great options that are exclusive to Las Vegas I don't think there is any reason to try a chain like Fogo de Chao, The Palm, etc.

The most likely routes for next year are definitely WAW-IAD on LOT Polish, TPE-IAD on EVA Air, or Swiss ZRH-IAD If Iberia was to grow in USA serving a new market then I’d place my bet on IAD-MAD by Iberia. Perhaps DL IAD-SEA is in anticipation of Amazon opening a second hq in DC? You've heard the same rumors I have then. The opening of HQ2 is a long way off.
