No they won’t. They have a relationship for 46-47 years. Boeing would not throw I fit. E2 does not have true intercontinental and also can’t reach Hawai’I. Boeing doesn’t own SW

Time to think A220. The benefits of acquiring that aircraft far outweigh the costs of adding a second fleet type. SW was in Europe talking to an operator recently (confirmed by CEO). Their could only be one reason. They are seriously thinking of getting it. Just my opinion.

I would definitely say they are looking. You don’t just send a delegation to Europe and speak with another airline if you aren’t interested. I’ve flown on the A220-100 with Swiss and it’s an awesome e airplane. Comfortable and quiet and the fuel saving are hard to ignore. So I think aren’t “looking”...

I think it will definitely be flown by the a350. SQ does a daily nonstop from Singapore with no problems with their a350. I also think it’ll be from Atl. New York area already has daily Air India flights from JFK and EWR and UA flies daily from EWR to both BOM and DEL

I fly SW a lot (few times a week) and also UA, DL and AA and I have to say SW has the bumpiest rides ever. All the other carriers are so smooth? Anyone know why??

It looks like Norwegian will be flying their 737MAX from the East Coast to Ireland starting in July. I guess this means that Southwest will not be the launch customer.

I think people have to keep in mind it's still not that easy for the average American to go to Cuba. Their are still restrictions. Once all the restrictions have fallen in perhaps another year or so, I predict it'll be the hot spot of the Caribbean.

I just flew one of the most unique air routes in the world from Auckland to Buenos Aires on Air New Zealand . There are only three airlines flying this Southern Pacific route. Currently enroute to Helsinki on Finnair's brand new A350. What a beauty. Sitting steady at 410 and 544 kts. Beautiful ride and wonderful service by the efficient cabin attendants. Love this. It's really a toss up which is nicer. The 787 or the 350. Both gorgeous birds!!
