I would not be surprised to see VCE and BCN reduced to less than daily frequencies. As someone pointed out with the DBV cut, European cruise traffic will be way down in 2021 (and even beyond)

Shame those A321Neo didn't come with IFEs. In a post COVID world, I can't imagine IFE being utilized as it's just another touch point on a perceived 'dirty' aircraft. Personally I'd feel safer with my own device. For as much as people bemoaned AA not installing IFE, looks like they saved themselves...

It would be a huge loss of PHL didn't have any connection to the German market. While don't think LH will drop PHL, I don't think PHL will be without service to Germany if they did. I'm sure AA would see it as an opportunity, even in this market. SAP provides a huge corporate contract on this route...

I actually think the opposite will happen and AS will keep the one flight to SEA and AA will add maybe an additional flight or two. Best case is AA flies to PDX year round now.

One TPAC flight out of SEA isn't going to stimulate that much additional demand on PHL-SEA

JAL coming to PHL would be wishlist for 2021. FI most likely will come back maybe fly later into the year if they get the Max 8 back. NK and F9 continue flighting to Florida and SJU. PHL looses a lot of service in March with some frequencies cut by over 50% too. I personally had a confirmed flight cancelled and the alternative was a near 3 hour difference.

The LA Rams are flying the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football so it's a team charter.

If you look at the Flightradar history, it lines up with their schedule (CLE, CLT, HNL, etc.)

I saw the French Air Force A330 (a la Air Force One) in PHL this morning - it was parked over near the GA terminal.

Assuming it's for the UN Week in NY and parked in PHL for overflow from JFK. Is Macron attending?

Yikes - not good for AS. LAX was always going to be tough for AS with strong AA presence on both sides and NK dominating the LCC. In SFO, they were also competing with UA.

On the flip side, they've doubled SEA

It's unfortunate that PHL did not get TLV. But there are nice route/frequency additions. I think there is room for two airlines on PHL-KEF. Didn't B6 only recently open up GYE from FLL the last 6 months or so? Great to see them add this route! And why does the Ecuadorian population in NYC skew towards GYE and not UIO? Just returned from a bachelor party PHL to SJU on AA and the fares were crazy at $550+ but we were unwilling to take the F9 flights are brutal times - good to see the new flight is a bit more 'normal'

And yes this would have been a great route for B6 to enter!

Only last week, I got lambasted for suggesting that US Airlines are not interested in MAN. To further cement this notion, AA then scrap MAN-ORD. Well, there now is service to TXL...

LH is quite strong on the PHL-FRA market with tons of corporate traffic. SAP alone has among the highest volume between the Northeast and Germany

CLTMUC, that replaces PHLMUC. PHLFRA gone entirely. PHLGLA cancelled, with the GLA station closing. ORDMAN gone. JFKDUB gone. JFKEDI gone. Really amazing! Went several years ago and there was not many good Oneworld options back to the US.

PHL has really become quite a TATL, albeit heavily skewed towards AA
