Doesn't that depend on the fate of the Chinese aircraft still in storage. Just Shenzhen Airlines alone has 13 in storage at BFI and MWH, all built more than 18 months ago. It has, I think, 8 active in service so why aren't the remainder being delivered?

I travel regularly in China on business and, much as I like to spend time at airports ;) , I almost inevitably opt for the train if it's going to be 4 hours or less (Chinese trains are a lot more punctual than Chinese planes).

The Chinese airlines are also using Russian airspace between Europe and China, this is giving them a substantial time and cost advantage over European airlines on the same routes e.g. MU LHR-PVG is taking about 1 hour less than VS LHR-PVG.

VP-CEM is an ex-Virgin Australia 777 (was VH-VPE). It flew VCV-BGR-SNN and is now heading SE from SNN (to, I'm guessing, TLV?). All flights have been relatively low (VCV-BGR was 23,000 and below) suggesting the RVSM explanation is correct.

There's information elsewhere that YK-AIB was moved to the Samara Aviakor plant in 2005 (presumably after the work being done in the photo referenced above), seen in Samara in 2009 but now believed to have been scrapped.

I think it's more likely to be HS-AAI 737-300 ex-Air Asia (obviously painted in Qatar colours) - but I haven't yet found confirmation of this
