Check-in is one hour before departure, get paid $2.00 per-diem for that hour. That includes pre-flight, boarding, galley set-up and helping out customers with their carry-on bags and whatever else they might need to get comfortable. $2.00, you bet that door will be closed on time!!!

My airline, Alaska Airlines, have the most interesting bulkheads. They are multicolored, carpeted, and have an "Alaska" eskimo art theme to them. They are actually quite nice and it peeves me that people have the nerve to put their stinky feet all over them. And yes, I kindly ask them to remove them.

All Alaska and Horizon (flights that haven't pre-cleared in Canada) arriving int'l flights go through customs at the South Satellite. Passengers must then catch the train to the C/D concourses to make connecting flights.

I'm happy that the Fokker line will be reopened. I used to work for a U.S. regional carrier that flew the F28-1000 and F28-4000 models. They were a beast of an aircraft, but comfortable. I hope we'll see them in the U.S. again.
