Re: Fun missed approach/landing and low fly-pass

lall things and bits "hanging out" (so quite noisy and shakey), I think it's already been clarified, but this doesn't sound like a missed approach. Whenever I've had missed approaches or go arounds one of the first things will be a reduction in flaps and retracting the landing gear. Had o...

Re: Why does BA schedule 2 HKG-LHR flights within 10mins of each other?

Most departures to Europe from SIN are in the evening, so it makes sense that they both depart at night. They depart fairly late so I don't think they'd be much to gain from having them leave at a wider time gap. Also, I figure it's cheaper to get all those pax checked in almost together. Probably ...

CX is going 3-4-3 in Y on the 77W in 2018. Enjoy it while it lasts.

For anyone with status who can't get their company to pay for J, AA is the much better bet with Main Cabin Extra and systemwide upgrades if you are EXP.

Two main reasons. Safety and the ability to use reduced/flex takeoff thrust in some circumstances.

Re: SFO Landing/Takeoff "Reversal" on 10/28 last Friday, January 6, 2017 - unusual?

Is there any particular reason why some airlines favor certain runways? I understand that wide bodies normally stick to the 28s for takeoffs, but nearly every day I see HA take off from the 1s. I've also seen KL take off from the 1s a few times, but no other wide bodies aside from the occasional UA...

I love the early morning arrivals into the EU from the west coast. I think they're incredibly convenient - wheels up at 8pm Los Angeles time, wheels down at 6am in Paris. . How is that possible? This model has been going on for years, it's nothing new. People need to pay attention to what they buy. "My Nissan Versa doesn't have leather seats and a sunroof like my Murano did!". Tough.
