RE: Croatia Domestic: ZAG-PUY In Shaking ATR (+pics)

Ah good stuff-I'm flying into Pula for the first time in August...my parents have a villa in Porec, and so I've been to Croatia something like 14 times in the past 3 years odd-know the area pretty well. We either fly to Trieste, Ljubliana or Rijeka, but now Ryanair have started Pula that's the obvio...

RE: How Many Dates Before Sex

I had sex with my first serious girlfriend after 3 weeks, and ended it after 2 months. I liked her a lot (until I ended it when I went to uni, she turned into a psychopathic stalker and it all went wrong...), but didn't love her. Still, I don't regret it at all. I feel miles better for having sex, a...

I'm getting 10.9 L/100km, or 25.9 MPG (imperial), or 21.6 MPG (US) on average according to my computer, but realistically driving around the city like I am a lot at the moment it's about 22mpg (imperial), rising to around 30 on a long motorway run. Bought the Independant the other day and read it-it was the front page story. Essentially, if you're reading papers and are seeing things like 'consumer spending on the up', 'record profits in retail sector', 'British people owe more than ever before on credit cards', it means people are spending a lot. To counteract this, interest rates rise to encourage people to save. High...

Found this thread really interesting-over here you can't buy less than 95 RON fuel, and many people run 98. Hi all-I've been reading here and there about long term aircraft designs involving BWB, ie. blended wings. For one thing, what does BWB actually stand for? Agree with all the comments regarding the Eurostar-I think if you were an O&D passenger you would have to be mad, or have been offered a very, very cheap airfare, to fly over the train. It's now something like 2 hours 45 mins, if that, from central London to Paris on the train. There is simply no wa...

In my opinion there's nothing wrong with the idea of a warmed up 777, but it needs to be cheap for Boeing. If they can viably do it whilst developing a longer term competitor to the A350-1000, great, I'm all for it, but if it's going to be an Airbus style 'let's warm this plane up on the cheap rathe...

I'm not so sure about the 748I selling particularly to the big airlines-they probably won't want to run a subfleet of about 5-10 just for routes that fit in between the 777W/350-1000 bracket and the 380 level of demand, and hence I would imagine most of them will just shuffle things around to avoid ...
