Around 1990 HP did a Saturdays only 737 charter flight PHX-GYM for Club Med, later is was scheduled service by Mesa as America West Express. The international arrival terminal at the time is where the badging office is now between T3 and T2.

Sorry, but yes it's PHX and DFW, is there really that much traffic to support that much capacity.

For May DFW still has about 100 more flights and 13000 more seats per day than CLT. The June schedule has not been loaded.

There is an interesting article on CNBC about airlines wanting to collude on routes with govt approval. It also mentions F9 is only going to fly 10% of their flights in April.

Just checked google flights HNL-OGG is $49 same day for most days, $39 and $59 for the others. I really don't know, but was that the fare HA was getting before WN started inter-island flights?

I think the old Frontier did a DEN-MAF-ABI -DEN route? But I don't see how this could possible work with Tyler, I hope I'm wrong. I still think COS is a huge hole in the AA network from either PHX or LAX. I can't guess what they were thinking in trying AMA instead of COS. Weren't COS and ICT 2 of the original HP cities?

Around 1990 HP flew year round from PHX to COS, DEN, PUB, GJT, and DRO all mainline 737 service. Seasonal service to Hayden-Steamboat Springs and Eagle-Vail. COS was one of the first HP cities.

Has anyone got a pic of the new AA Eagle walkways at B1 and B15? The walkways look like a bunch enclosed metal tubes with some rollup jetbridges for Express flights. I guess that is good for when its raining, but imagine it must be very hot.

The PHX-LHR would be great for employees of AA. Also the city is looking for qualified SIDA badged employees to volunteer in October for drills at T3S.Memo states concourse is stated to open in November.

I saw one of the new bridges being installed and it did have an F plus a gate number. I know this has been said, but the city really should have re-lettered all of the concourses so we don't have 2 A's, 2 B's, etc. It is so confusing for a passenger looking for B15 to actually go to the end of the B...

PHX-AUS and PHX-SAT are now all mainline, previously were CRJ-900. IAH is now all CRJ-900.

168 mainline departures. 262 mainline plus Eagle. Not sure of the longest RJ route--could be PHX-YEG 1375 miles YV CRJ-900, but no E175's in PHX. I think at one time HP had 199 mainline and 199 express departures from PHX.

One of the biggest holes left in PHX for AA is COS. COS and ICT were some of the first HP cities served from PHX.

Airlines used to do wrap flights with 2 or more cities attached to the hub. Here is a link showing not only America West, but AA, TWA, USAir, Delta and Northwest flying from TUS to PHX. I also seem to remember TWA flying a L1011 routing STL-PHX-LAS.

I don't have the exact numbers, but AA is now about 50/50 local vs connecting traffic. US/HP was more 60 connecting and 40 local.

AA still hasn't loaded how the A330-300 will do the PHX-HNL service. Unless they use the same plane to go back and forth PHX-HNL-PHX every day.

I wish they would rename the T4 concourses to one letter per concourse. 2 A's, 2 B's, 2 C's etc is very confusing for the passengers. T4 should be A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H-for the new WN concourse.
