For May DFW still has about 100 more flights and 13000 more seats per day than CLT. The June schedule has not been loaded.Jump to post
There is an interesting article on CNBC about airlines wanting to collude on routes with govt approval. It also mentions F9 is only going to fly 10% of their flights in April.
:banghead: :bomb:  The screwing of OKC continues by WN. Seriously - have UA's OKC-IAD and AA's OKC-DCA taken that much traffic away from WN? Pretty drastic cutbacks by WN lately. WN flyers from OKC now have a lot more options via DAL than they used to. The fact that WN has a nonstop to BWI is ...Jump to post
Just checked google flights HNL-OGG is $49 same day for most days, $39 and $59 for the others. I really don't know, but was that the fare HA was getting before WN started inter-island flights?Jump to post
I think the old Frontier did a DEN-MAF-ABI -DEN route? But I don't see how this could possible work with Tyler, I hope I'm wrong. Allegiant announced service from Wichita Falls to LAS back in the early 2000's but was cancelled before it ever started. Like others said, it's just too close to drive to...Jump to post
I saw one of the new bridges being installed and it did have an F plus a gate number. I know this has been said, but the city really should have re-lettered all of the concourses so we don't have 2 A's, 2 B's, etc. It is so confusing for a passenger looking for B15 to actually go to the end of the B...Jump to post
Has WN ever said if they are going to keep S4 when S1 opens? My understanding is the exact gate breakdown has not been finalized yet and won't be until after groundbreaking. My guess is WN will keep C13/17/18/19 while C11/12/14/16 all go CUTE (I think SY would likely find a home in S4 once S1 is co...Jump to post

As someone mentioned, the regional issue is to get the costs the lowest so you don't get replaced by another vendor. AA owns both Piedmont and Envoy, and both are represented by the CWA for ground agents. Piedmont has a tentative agreement, but the problem is if the costs get too high, AA will just ...Jump to post
AZ attached new sick leave laws to the minimum wage ballot initiative. But work groups covered under bargaining agreements do not apply. So the non-union staff are covered with up to 5 days a year, and the company can not retaliate against the employee for using those sick days. Union employees are ...Jump to post
PHX-COS or LAX-COS is a big hole in the AA network.Jump to post
One of the biggest holes left in PHX for AA is COS. COS and ICT were some of the first HP cities served from PHX.Jump to post
Airlines used to do wrap flights with 2 or more cities attached to the hub. Here is a link showing not only America West, but AA, TWA, USAir, Delta and Northwest flying from TUS to PHX. I also seem to remember TWA flying a L1011 routing STL-PHX-LAS.
Austin is getting 3x weekly flights to LGW on Norwegian.
