Well, that really depends on your checkride. If you show a good amount of proficiency, you may not need anything beyond that first session. The majority of this is at the discretion of our training director though.

We do not require you to fly online on VATSIM, however it is encouraged. The main reason why we are pushing it right now is because we need ten active pilots registered in VATSIM in order to become established with them. But we do not require you to fly online.
