There is a mandatory evacuation on the Keys for all tourists that started yesterday, residents should start evacuating today. The keys are very low lying islands so a hurricane like Irma will cause havock with the storm surge and on top of that there is only one road out, so they need time to evacua...

FEDEX could technicaly fly to Varadero which is not restricted and only two hours driving time from Havana. So a plane can leave the US after the sorting of the package is done at night , get to Varadero late at night and have the packages driven to Havana to be delivered first thing in the morning

DHL have been operating in Cuba for at least 20 years, although there is not direct link to the US from Cuba. If I am not mistaken all DHL connections to Cuba are done via Mexico. For the longest time DHL was the only way to send express packages to Cuba from the US.
