Hello, I've booked a flight this summer from Istanbul to Toronto, with a connection in Munich, through Expedia. The flight from IST to MUC is on Turkish and form MUC to YYZ on Air Canada. I suspect I will need to check-in to my AC flight in Munich but does anyone know if bags go through to final des...
Jump to postHello, I've tried to figure this out on the AeroMexico website with no clear answer, and could not get through after a long wait to their call- centre so I thought I would ask here. We had a flight from YYZ-HUX booked on Westjet but that was cancelled and we were re-booked on to AeroMexico. We were ...
Jump to postI have to agree with AC330, this "has been the most exhausting story of an airline in the making that the Canadian airline industry has ever seen". I also agree there is a pent up demand for leasure travel in Canada, I just got back from PVR myself, but the presence and market share of Sun...
Jump to postThe Bangladesh diaspora is approximately 70,000+ in Greater Toronto Area and as ZUHAIR77W mentions if they can establish an interline agreement with Air Canada or maybe Westjet this could work for them.
Jump to postJust an opinion, We see the continuation of WestJet vacations as the higher-end product mainly using WestJet metal, and Swoop get rolled into Sunwing (keeping the SunWing brand) which is very good at the value-based travel.
Thank you ACCS300, now I have than damm jingle in my head.
NameOmitted, the below was a recent article on flight 85 i saw recently.

For me is a combination of price, direct flight if possible and a departure/arrival times that make me select one flight over another. The frequency I fly the route would not make me pick one over the other.
Jump to postShort answer, yes. If it's a direct flight with a decent departure time I would. I've done this with Air Canada Rouge and AirTransat a few times
Jump to postWe will see. I am hoping they are right and domestic travel this summer means I can go further than my backyard.

Not another Canada Jetlines thread. This "airline" gets more attention on a.net than real airlines that actually have planes and sell tickets.
Jump to postA flight I'm on in March from CUN to YYZ was switched from a Rouge 767 to a mainline 330, I was happy to get that update from AC.
Jump to postand then someone claims to have the virus on a flight from YYZ to MBJ....

I've not flown with them much, but never had an issue with them

For all the flying I've done over the years, I've only had to show the credit card I booked with once for a flight on CX.
Jump to postThanks LAXintl
I ended up booking the YYZ-MEX and the CUN-YYZ with Air Canada and the MEX-CUN with AeroMexico. Now I can look forward to a great trip and not following Interjet on the net.
Thanks janders for your reply
Yeah I've leaning that way as well. The trip will be YYZ-MEX-CUN-YYZ. I think for some piece of mind I will book AC on the CUN-YYZ leg which is what I was looking at Interjet for.
Looking to book some flights to Mexico for March...I know I am early! Some great prices on Interjet, just wondering if they will be there in a years time. I saw the Mexican government loaned them $150M and they have the new partnership with AA, but also lots of negative press about the money they ar...
Jump to postJuly 2006 IIRC. AA flight from San Antonio to Dallas.
Jump to postI don't fly for work anymore and I don't collect enough through personal travel, plus its near impossible to collect Air Canada Aeroplan points anymore (commercially) so I've pretty much given up on a FF program.

As an update, based on LCY55Approach's advice I called and got the AC reservation code. With that I was able to book the seats via the AC website.
Thanks again!
Northern Spain for me, with a quick hop to Malaga before we fly home.
Jump to postLCY55Approach, thank you for this. I will call them today.
Jump to postHi Everyone, I've booked my summer vacation flights, yeah! Travelling to Spain for just under 3 weeks. I booked my flights through the Lufthansa website and the first flight from YYZ-MAD is on Air Canada and my first flight on a 787. I picked the "light fare" option as the next level up wa...
Jump to postThanks for all the advice, I'm going to go with it. I don't need to be home the next day, or the day after so if I get a bit of an extended holiday that's okay.
Jump to postHi Everyone, I've read a few posts about connection times in FRA (good and bad), thought I would pose my senerio and see what people think. I'm looking at a flight from Malaga (Spain) to Toronto via FRA. The AGP-FRA segment is on Lufthansa, the FRA-YYZ on a code-share Air Canada flight and it will b...

Nothing in particular for the flight, maybe just headphones and my iPhone for movies
Jump to postMe personally, 2 hrs is the minimum I prefer but as others have said the 1:20 in ZRH seems doable especially if on one ticket. My shortest connection was 1:20 in KEF and all went well.
Jump to postAlways some great pics in these threads, thank you.

I'm interested to see how this develops. I would agree with Noise in that is a way for WestJet to block startups and compete with Transat and Rouge .

Jump to postvegas005 wrote:the only thing unique to Rouge is how bad they suck...worst airline I have ever been on and now I completely avoid AC for this reason...
I think I may have found the answer to my question. Under the low price guarantee AC offers, if you find a lower advertised price for your flight you get some form of credit, but one of the requirements is that it has to be the same flight #, I saw the 8xxx flight numbers on sites like Cheap-O-air, ...
Jump to postHi Everyone, I will be traveling from Toronto to Bangkok in the summer of 2017 and thinking about how to get there and back. I'm curious if anyone knows about China Eastern's on-time performance (in general), the ease of connecting in Shanghai and how they treat ecomony class passengers if there are...
