IMHO the “Red Stripe” TWA livery was a very timeless and iconic looking livery. Had they not introduce the final livery, and had they still be around today, it would have still looked good.

WN is currently offering various extended time off packages (6,12,18 mo) along with a voluntary separation (retirement) packages. Once they have that figured out they will go from there.. Hopefully (fingers and toes crossed) things work out ok.

What takes place during a "life extension" mod for aircraft such as the 737 or A320. I do remember the "crown modifications" WN did a few years ago when they replaced the roofs of their -300s.

I also poked around a bit not too long after posting this. According to wikipedia (I know its not always a trusted source) that the first two E4s (including the one in the picture) were originally built as commercial 747s are were NTU. Does anyone know who they were originally supposed to go to?

LY seems to operate quite a few older 737-800s. I'd imagine those would be great candidates for cargo conversions right? The LY livery would look good on those A321neo's however I believe that's an entire different discussion.

Has the Large Door ATR-72-600 freighter entered service yet? Pretty sure I saw someplace that it was to EIS in 2020.

Since the CR1/CR2 seems to have a few interested in converting to a freighter. Are there any hopes for a CR7/CR9, and perhaps maybe even a E145 conversion down the road?

There are quite a few newer Norwegian -800s that have been hitting the second hand market. Those models are highly compatible with the WN -800s in age, interior (BSI) and from what I've heard WiFi. Fly Dubai also has been disposing some of their -800s, I believe SY picked up a few.
