N711 and N714 are the two retro jets.. N714 is rumored to be repainted into the heart livery if or when it gets repainted.. Since these two are the older of the 700s in the fleet, they’re likely to be leaving in the next few years. I thought we had a 3rd. But it might have been painted. A/C 792 was...Jump to post

Is it me or they could have spaced out Turkish Airlines a little better?
She still looks good though
I am sorry if this has been asked before. How come the 900ER, and now 9MAX need a window plug? Why can’t they just make it without one if it doesn’t require a door?Jump to post
Came across this interesting article on some concept planes that Embraer proposed over the years.

“In the event of an emergency, please grab your belongings with you, once in hand place phone in selfie mode and then proceed to film yourself during event, once outside the aircraft post a sensationalist title that will make all media outlets want to use your video, and don’t forget to specify that...Jump to post

Southwest doesn’t seem to have funny crews anymore. There once was a plane that’s blue, the seats were the same color too, look to your left, look to your right if you get a seat quick we’ll make it out ontime tonight, after you read this, If you only knew , this came from a funny southwest stew th...Jump to post
From what I read, and heard, WN management really likes the A220. As we'd all know it would make a much better 700 replacement than the MAX7. I hate to put it like this, however when the MAX dust parts away and settles, WN will be one of the airlines reaping the benefits especially as its highly lik...Jump to post
LH, along with a few other airlines have painted their wings white. I noticed none of the US airlines haven’t. Is it allowed in the US to completely paint the wings white? Also what colors are typically allowed to be painted on commercial aircraft wings?
I watched this MD80 Lansing while I was on my way home from work.. Thought it was quite awesome to see an AA MD80 here in LAS.. There are also plenty of WN planes wearing canyon blue. I’d imagine you’ll be seeing Canyon Blue for a little while longer..Jump to post
There could be a number of reasons why it needed a new winglet. N442WN (when in the Spirit livery) was sporting a desert gold winglet for many years. N922WN also had an airTran nose for a short while too. I’ve seen many WN planes sporting mixed parts, and will likely be the normal for quite some tim...Jump to post

I don’t have photobucket anymore, or else I’d be posting the actual image. This user on Instagram created a nice “update” to the current livery.

IMHO it looks quite nice.
The -300s that went to VCV were the ones that were getting sold to other companies. Even if WN wanted to bring them back into service, their pilots would have to get re-qualified and do a distance learning module for it. (From my understanding). Many of the WN-300s have also found new homes around t...Jump to post
These MAX posts are getting quite absurd.. If AA wanted to, they could cancel the MAX and order 150 C919s, however they won’t.. I’ve seen a lot of posts and a lot of airlines say they’d cancel the MAX and yet they haven’t? Likely because after this sh*t storm ends and the media moves onto its next h...Jump to post
What type of new bins will the “Oasis “A321s get? Will they be the pivot down? Or will they be like the bins installed on the A321NEOs? Does AA have a contender of what the A319 replacement might be? Perhaps the A220/ 7MAX? Lastly, does anyone know the paint cycle for the birds at AA? Since most air...Jump to post

Welcome to “Sticks and Stones may break my bones, as long as the flight isn’t delayed or cancelled” International Airport. I think in all fairness, the actual public is more concerned if they’re going to make their connection, or if the flight is late than what the airport is named after.. Just my t...Jump to post
I APOLOGIZE if this has been asked before.. What about a CFRP 737?
Lastly what about a 737MAX freighter? I’ve seen pictures of a presentation about it from a FX pilot.. Perhaps thats in the works as well?
When it comes time to repaint the Timberwolves plane, will it retain its specialty paint or be painted into the standard livery?Jump to post
Looking at the BOAC 747 this morning gave me faith that British Airways will do good on the rest. When it comes to botched retrojets, WN and AA (TWA one in particular) comes to mind. As for why the belly isn’t polished. Correct me if I am wrong, but this 747 has been wearing paint for over 15 years,...Jump to post
Can’t we combine all these threads into a giant “Effects Of A380 line shut down” thread? How many different threads does there have to be on this? Anet topics are starting to look like the new Disney movies.. They’re all twisted re-makes.. If you really wanna see a single engine double decker airbus...Jump to post
What's the smart money on in terms of eventual KLM narrow body renewal ? Is a consolidated pan group type likely whatever that type may be ? Maybe, Dutch ground workers have stated that they prefer containerised a320's instead of the manuel loaded 737. But that doesn't say much, it's the pilot/crew...Jump to post
N781WN seems to be the first aircraft with the "WN" registration, eh? Still don't get why they went from SW to WN for registrations. Actually it wasn’t. I believe N610WN had the honors of being the first A/C with the WN registration. There were a few -300s with the “WN” prefix. I suppose ...Jump to post
What are the red marks on YR? It appears on the nose gear of YR has some red smears.. Is that perhaps blood?Jump to post
For some reason WN skipped around on some of the numbers. 702, 721, and 722 at the time were assigned to a -200 they got from the original Midway. For some other unknown reasons they have also skipped over 393 with the -300s, and for some reason 8304 doesn’t exist on the -800s. For obvious superstit...Jump to post
