I don't think that AA would drop JFK, especially once most the one world members move into terminal 8. The LHR-JFK route is too important for them to give up. with the low amount of flights, it makes sense to consolidate operations. Likewise, I would suspect that it would also cut costs as the PA probably wouldn't have to keep sanitizing the closed terminals.
