There wasn't really 1 focus, between JFK, ORD, MIA and DFW there were several TATL markets served with JFK and ORD sharing a bulk of the secondary cities... though this also depends on how far back we are talking in their history. It appears most other airlines did choose 1 focus area for their TATL...

For DL flights in ATL, at least, you don't have to pick up and recheck your bags if you're connecting to another international flight - so maybe that's what the F/A was referring to, but mistakenly mentioned not having to go through immigration as well. I am always skeptical of these clams by Delta including no 'mainline cancellations' in the past. I recall a DL MSP-LHR flight delayed over 24 hours. It eventually arrived at LHR past curfew over a day late. In most normal circumstances that flight would be deemed cancelled. DL extended the delay in...

At the end of June AA will turn off SABRE as it finishes its transition to USAir's QIK system. I think this is a HUGE mistake. There was nothing wrong with SABRE. The new system is NOT QIK at all. Its slow, tedious, confusing, and makes no sense. It takes nearly 2-3x as long to accomplish many task...
