Instead of dropping them completely, they could have handed them out as a little parting gift as people exited the plane after the flight. That way it would satisfy the people who looked forward to them, but didn't create issues for people with peanut sensitivities in confined spaces. Win-win, right...

CoPilots seat was NORMALLY reserved for airline employees, or other non-revs... But they did occasionally have to seat a Pax up front because of weight and balance issues. The first two P2012s for Cape Air are on their way to the US! Currently in Reykjavik as I type this. Reg #'s are N133CA and N244CA for anyone that wants to track them. I assume this means they'll be arriving in HYA sometime Tuesday 9/24, or Wednesday at the latest.

Speaking of Cape Air and the P2012, does anybody know when they will actually be taking delivery? It was said to have been pushed back due to the government shutdown earlier this year, with expected delivery moved to May, but here it is mid-June and I haven't seen a single one at HYA yet.

Care to explain what the Pilot Pay Rate has to do with Fuel Saving? Even if the pilots flew for free (which they don't), WN would still save $1.4b in fuel per year according to zeke switching to the A220. There's always a DHL 767 parked at BOS near the Economy Parking garage whenever I'm headed out on a trip. Still haven't seen any of their aircraft with the special "Grand Tour" tails though.

Excited to see them as well. I work right across the street from HYA so I'm sure I'll get a good look at one on approach at some point.

I can confirm what Weather Pilot said. Government shutdown pushed their first delivery back to April/May... so, soon!!

It's nice that another Concorde is receiving some TLC, but the droop nose has been in action for a while at the Brooklands Concorde as far as I know. Brooklands also rescued and rebuilt the simulator! If anyone has the means to get to Brooklands and book time in the sim, I can't recommend it enough....
