I find it interesting that here in Europe we never have these kind of issues as 'emotional support animals' are not a concept here, yes trained guide dogs etc. are rightly accommodated by airlines at no charge. Pets go in the hold, suitably caged, having paid the appropriate fee. Simple!

Having passengers walking about on the platform with only a couple of gate agents to keep them within the marked path.

I guess that must be a purely American issue then given that thousands of pax manage to do it unaided, sucessfully and safely around the world every day.

You are using incorrect terminology, a hardstand is what an aircraft is parked on regardless of whether it has a jetbridge or not, a remote stand is what your are talking about as it is 'remote' from the terminal. A recent trip on QR from LHR to HAN via DOH we were delayed leaving London, I made the connection my bags didn't and were subsequently routed DOH - AUH - SIN - HAN and reached me the next morning! Standard baggage tag with an additional 'RUSH' tag attached.

If you flew on an British Airtours L-1011 or CalAir DC-10's, for example, to any of the major holiday hotspots around the Mediterranean in the 80's & 90's boarding / disembarking via airstairs was the only option.

Avianca. Finnair have a standard Euro business class set up, middle seat blocked, not First Class type seas that can be seen in the pic. The ethnicity of the passengers would suggest they are not a standard group of Scandinavian passengers.

There are no passport checks completed by the Border Force when leaving the UK, passports are generally looked at by the check-in agent and at the boarding gate, this has been the case for at least 20 years as far as I can remember.

I'm a Health & Safety Auditor for the worlds largest online travel agency and average 80 flights a year worldwide, normally in ass class but still collect a fair amount of air miles by choosing to fly a oneworld carrier whenever possible.

Always amuses me in Y on the BA 777s, the lavs by doors 3 always have a ton of people waiting but take a stroll up towards the rear galley and there is never a line for the 3 lavs there!

From what I can gather from the website you can only go for the 1-2-1 when in the Sates or in Doha, Qatar so a bit of a pain in ass really unless you are in the States and can fix a convenient appointment during your trip, it would be great if you could go through the US Embassy in London for example.

Very concerning that the ammunition was not identified at a security screening point prior to the pilot getting anywhere near the aircraft.

I have heard various comments by Americans during my travels over the years that they have the best airport security in the world. I'm not so sure.
