For awhile you could get PDF schedules online too - most of those are long gone. It's fun to look at the old OAG/ABC timetable editions to relive those days .. :-) AC still produce a PDF timetable. The fuel truck hit the AC Express aircraft. Header implies that the plane hit the truck. Truck hit the plane three times. Truck driver has been charged with dangerous driving. The Sudbury-bound flight was returning to the terminal due to weather conditions in Sudbury.

They were waiting to see whether they'd be keeping the A319s a little longer. It is confirmed that they will be staying in the Air Canada fleet a little longer than previously expected. They are now being sent for updating from the silversky colours to the new red, white, and black colours.

This is a refreshing change from the drab widget. However, to me, it looks like Air Canada's silver sky livery (what some of you called "toothpaste") mated with Air Transat's new livery and produced this new Westjet.

AC does hold a monopoly at YYZ which prevents any real competition coming in whether from the high end to the low end. The partnership seems OK. LOT is shut out of the JV that AC has with UA and LH group. However, AC and LO have decent codeshares on either end. This summer AC will have a daily 767 on YYZ-WAW. LO will fly 9x weekly WAW-YYZ on the 787-8 (probable upgauge to one of the -9's coming online in the spring...

Toronto - Hong Kong is being upgauged to 77W service. The 77L usually assigned to Toronto - Hong Kong is being re-assigned to the Mumbai and Dubai routes.

Actually, Air Canada's current colour palette is called "silver sky". Depending on the environment, or your eye, it may appear bluish or greenish or silver. Nonetheless, it is called "silver sky".

Airlines buy fuel in bulk so the current fuel would have been purchased at higher prices. Fuel surcharges would not come down until some point next year. Once air carriers purchase bulk fuel at lower prices, then those savings could be passed on to passengers...assuming fuel prices remain low.
